NDP Managed Security (NDP) began as a consulting company offering security solutions and custom network integration for Southern Californian medical office in 1998. Building on our successful practice of integrating secure and reliable computing solutions for medical offices and through listening to our clients evolving needs, NDP has created several lines of business and product offerings that allow companies of all sizes to benefit from our expertise.

HISTORY

NDP was originally founded as a partnership under the name New Digital Paradigm in 1998 to meet the needs of an emerging demand for competent IT solutions in Southern California. Specializing in the Medical Office Market, NDP focused on solutions that met the needs of the evolving doctor's practice. NDP continues to be committed to designing computer systems for the Medical Office of Tomorrow.

One of the systems NDP developed to meet these needs is an economically sensible firewall that offers all the features and security of the "big-guys" at around the price of a network server. Developing this package of hardware, open-source software, installation, and configuration services into a general firewall that could support the needs of any business organization is our new area of focus.

Looking forward, NDP plans on releasing new applications for managing medical offices and integrating Wireless devices, speech recognition, and palm/tablet PC's seamlessly into the daily operations of the Medical Office of Tomorrow.

NDP continues the growth of the Mercury Firewall project, to address the ever expanding security concerns faced when using the Internet as part of a business model. New features are currently under development that will further assist companies in defending their networks from attack. NDP strives to achieve the highest level of security for its clients, using the Mercury Firewall. It truly is one of the best firewalls on the market today.
